In our recent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we had the honour of visiting Nari Sanrakshan Kendra, a shelter home for women in vulnerable situations. As part of this heartfelt effort, we distributed Diwali clothes and food to the residents of the centre, aiming to bring not just essentials but also dignity and a sense of belonging
When our team stepped into the shelter, we weren’t just greeted by people we were embraced by untold stories, quiet resilience, and hopeful eyes. Many of these women have faced circumstances most of us can only imagine, yet they stood strong. Offering them warm food and new clothes may seem like a small act, but for them, it was a symbol: you are not forgotten. These donations are a reminder that the community cares that businesses like Ramkrishna Diamond don’t just operate in society, but for society.
This initiative is more than charity as it’s about responsibility. Through this effort, we align closely with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
